Distance, Weather, Food, & 154 Riders Last Week

It was a great week to ride, the Thursday, Friday and Saturday rides all reported excellent attendance and on Sunday we welcomed 124 riders for a 52 mile jaunt along a new route via the Atco Race Way. Wow, Dave Bennis is just chomping at the bit to devise more new rides leading us to the MS City to Shore event. A quick reminder here, we welcomed several new riders and we want to keep folks out and riding with us but remember it is illegal to ride your bike with headphones.

Here we go with several announcements, sign up for the Team Evesham dinner on Friday, September 27 here.

We continue to grow our team for the MS ride and we are looking for even more riders, we want to grow beyond the 160 riders from last year. We have already raised more than $64,000 as a team and we have 10 VIP riders  who each have raised more than $1,000. Remember as Team Evesham riders (we start first) you will get a great group to ride with in this event along with super concierge service at our own Team Evesham tents at the start and end points of the rides. We serve pizza in Ocean city plus Sandy is rumored to be working on another super surprise this year.

Speaking about new trends and events we will kick off an interesting promotion this Sunday, be certain you are out riding with us as we launch this new offer.

Check out the ETPD’s Facebook page for a well-written and informative post encouraging drivers to share the road with bikers (click the “See more…” link to read the entire post). Take special note of the comments. Just as we get frustrated with other vehicles on the road they get frustrated with bikers. Part of sharing the road means never riding more than two abreast and keeping as close to the right side of the road as is practicable. Also please take the time to review these NJ State Biking Regulations and FAQs.

We hope to see you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the road.
