A Windy Ride on the 1st Sunday in March

For the first Sunday in March, it was cloudy, it was windy, and it was cold.  But 15 intrepid riders showed up for a journey to Olde World Bakery. There was a route option of 40 miles or 30 miles, and strangely enough no one chose the forty miles. Going out the wind didn’t seem bother anyone. That was until we started riding into it.  Once at Olde World Bakery the hot coffee was just what we needed. The return was pleasant except for the mile on Newbolds Corner Road.  Into the wind that 1 mile seemed like 3. The positives were; that we did ride (that’s always good), and the sun did shine, but only for 2 minutes.

For next Sunday the weather people are predicting a nice day with temperatures in the 50’s.  Let’s hope they’re right.  So, all you folks who have been staying home on Sundays waiting for the nice weather.  Come out and join on the 10th.

Don’t forget the Beef and Beer to support the Police Unity Tour is this Friday. (see below)
