On Wednesday night the MS Society held the annual award banquet for the City to Shore Bike Tour. This year Team Evesham received two significant callouts! Team Evesham was recognized as the largest Friends and Family Team with 159 members.
We also were one of only three teams that raised over $100,000, achieving this fund raising milestone put us in the elite category of the Millennium Circle. The team was also saluted for our enormous growth in only four years from 8 riders to 159 riders and for hosting more than 100 riders during our weekly training rides.

In addition, the following 22 City to Shore riders achieved the personal best by becoming VIP riders, those who raised over $1000.00, this list is comprised of:

It was a great night to celebrate many team and personal accomplishments, our team mate Walt Rosewitski was a top individual fundraiser and his efforts contributed over $20,000 to the research and services the MS Society provided for the 13,000 local people who live with MS and need support from the MS Society.
Please pat yourself on the back for your tremendous efforts and outstanding outreach to achieve this level of fundraising. It is an amazing accomplishment to grow and contribute more each year in the efforts to find a cure for MS. I never envisioned having a team that was so successful when we first started to ride in the MS City to Shore event only four years ago. I want to thank each and everyone of you for contributing to the success of Team Evesham, it has truly been a pleasure to watch you all mature as riders and as a team.
Please come and join us this coming Saturday night for our annual Team Holiday Party, during this holiday season there is much to celebrate and we want you all to come and enjoy the company of your team mates.
