It Just Doesn’t Get Any Better

We had 87 riders out on Sunday and the weather couldn’t have been better for biking. That’s Nancy on the left taking the ride census in the photo above. By the end of our ride many team members were peeling off excess clothing.

And what a beautiful day it was for a lunch out on the terrace at Marco’s after the ride too. The food was delicious and the service was phenominal. Next week Dean has promised us smoothies.

Here’s some big news: Team Evesham raised over $102,000 for MS Ride this year! This is our largest fundraising accomplishment as a team yet. Putting one foot in front of the other we are helping to make the world a better place.

American Cancer Society Dinner

On Wednesday evening, November 14th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill the American Cancer Society held its annual award ceremony for the 2012 ACS Bike-a-Thon. Team Evesham had almost 50 riders participate in the ACS ride this year and collectively we raised over $18 thousand dollars. Present at the dinner were seven members of our ACS ride team. Our ACS team Captain, Dave Bennis received the award on behalf of the entire team.
