We broke a record, and had 4 ride events last week but wait there is more to come. On Sunday we finally set a record of 101 riders for our Sunday training ride. This was a new milestone and we thank all of you for participating. The route was a new one and it seemed that folks enjoyed the challenge of the new route, how many of you saw all four Wawa’s that we passed?

We also want to thank Rob from Gatorade who hosted our rest stop at the Wawa, it was super to have our very own refreshment area.

In all candor Rob never expected so many riders and he told me this as he was counting our participants at the Promenade before we departed. He needed to get more supplies before heading out to the rest stop.

On Thursday night we also hit a new record with 16 riders (thanks to leaders Brad and Kathy) for the midweek ride. On Friday, Dave made a special trip back from the shore to lead the Friday ride. Thanks to our incredible and dedicated ride leaders who ensure your safety. Please take heed to listen to their guidance and to stay hydrated on our warm weather rides.

This past Saturday, we had 25 riders head up to Mercer County College for the Princeton Free Wheeler ride. The majority of the Team Evesham group did the Hilly 65 mile route. It was so foggy when we started to ride that I could not see the route arrows and everyone had to take off their glasses. The weather improved and we had a great time. But check out the photos, they must have wheelchair races in the Princeton area. My hat is off to Roman, not only did he lead the 65 mile hilly route but then he rode home from Princeton and beat us all back.

Sunday Special

Ok, it is almost here, this coming Sunday, August 12, is the FUJI bike demo event, they will bring their trailer to the Promenade and team members get to “audition” a bike. The representatives of FUJI and D&Q will be there early to explain their products and set you up for a test ride. Stay tuned to the website for more details about this event.

Friday, 8/10 at 8AM – Team Evesham Friday morning ride. A 30 mile C/C+ ride departs from Panera Bread in The Promenade (500 Route 73 S # E15, Marlton, NJ 08053).
Sunday, 8/12 at 8AM – Team Evesham All-Level ride departs from Panera Bread in The Promenade (500 Route 73 S # E15, Marlton, NJ 08053). This weeks route will be the Long Bridge Park ride.
