Join us as we get back on the bike plus read more about a contest!

This past Sunday we had 53 cyclists join us on our Indian Mills ride. It was just spectacular to see so many friends and to welcome new riders too.  This coming Sunday, March 18, begins the start of our regular rides; we will be leaving Panera (Route 73, Marlton, NJ), in Marlton, at 9:00am every Sunday morning. Please come join us and tell your cycling friends too.

We will prepare cue sheets for our ride and on Thursday of every week, we will post the upcoming ride for those who want to download the route to your GPS device. Plus, we welcome input about any new rides that members want us to utilize, just email us here at Team Evesham, your ride may be selected for an up coming weekend. As always we will divide our groups into like-minded and similar cruising speed riders.

Our goal when we started the Team in 2008 was to stay physically fit and to participate in area charity rides in order to benefit non-profit groups. Last year we vastly exceeded our goal with the growth of the team and the money we raised for our chosen charities. This participation and fundraising was beyond what we ever envisioned.

Ok, now for the background on the contest. Each year we have produced a Team Evesham jersey. Last year our award-winning designer was Dara Mizerak. This year we are soliciting ideas for our team jersey, you too can enter the contest to design the jersey that your teammates will wear for the Cancer and the MS bike events. Here are the details on the contest; please submit a PDF file of your design (front and rear) to us at The design requirements are that you show the Team Evesham logo and that the design should embody our mission and our area. So please, no volcanoes on the Team Evesham jersey. Please include your contact information (phone, email), with your design submission. All entries are due by April 12. This will allow time for the judges to review the designs and still be able to meet the jersey production requirements.

A few other announcements, if you rode on the MS team in 2011 with Team Evesham, we now have the discount cards that were promised to the 2011 riders.

Please see us at our Sunday rides for your personal card. Also, we are welcoming the members of the Juvenile Diabetes (JDRF) group to our training rides on Sundays. Please reach out to Scott Kasper if you are interested in their events, his email is:

Hoping to see you all on Sunday.
