Last week we made a last minute decision to have a Team Evesham ride Saturday. We didn’t get the announcement out until 5:00 pm Friday, but still had 12 riders showed up at Paneras for our ride to Nixon’s. A nice turnout for a last minute notice. It felt good to be riding again, and everyone appeared to appreciate the opportunity to get in a ride in this early in the year.
But we weren’t the only group to hold ride last Saturday, the Rock It Riders held their Polar Century. Those 12 hardy cyclists, some who also ride with on Sundays, covered 104 miles riding from Cooper Plaza on Rt. 73 to Barnegat and back.
If the weather stays nice, we will be starting our regular weekly rides in a few weeks. It’s never too soon to start getting in shape for the charity rides. We hope to get strong team support for:
