As Long as the Weather Allows, We’ll Keep Riding

Thanksgiving weekend,  what a beautiful day to ride, and what a turnout –  4 groups and 51 riders.   As we continue to enjoy warmer weather it is just a blast to have so many folks join us for our Sunday ride.  You know it is alwys a great day when we climb up the hills in Ravenscliff.  Jimmy and Scott continue to train for the Philadelphia Pro Cycling Tour and the Manyunk Wall.

This week we had folks from as far away as New Hampshire join our jaunt out to Johnson’s Farm where they sell the best apple cider donuts. Actually a few riders even bought ice cream. Our own Basile was checking out the Christmas trees they were selling.  I think he seriously thought about how could he carry a tree back on his bike. It was 66 degrees when we came back to Panera.

The Sunday Team Evesham rides will continue until the weather changes, right now the forecast for this coming Sunday, December 4, is sunny and 50 degrees.   Come out this Sunday and join us as we ride thru the Pinelands.

A few quick announcements:

A) Save the date and watch for more information about our holiday party, this event is being held on Friday, December 16 at Indian Spring Country Club at 7:30.
B) We still, have a small supply of Team Evesham jerseys available for sale, the price is only $50.00 (including shipping), contact Sandy for sizes.
C) The Team leadership is compiling a list of cycling events for 2012, please let us know if you have any favorite charity ride that we should participate in next year.
Hope to see you next Sunday.
