A great autumn day for a ride

This past Sunday we had 49 riders at the Promenade ready to go on our weekly all level ride.  The morning temperatures were cool, but the riding quickly warmed us up.  The “Marlton Lakes Ride” was the ride de jour.  One we hadn’t done in a while.   There were a few flat tires and few missed turns, but it was a good ride and, I think, everyone enjoyed it.  Especially the bagels and coffee at the rest stop, Medford Bagels.
Thanks to Jim Sweet, Dennis Dahms, Brad Davis, and Dave Bennis for leading the groups.  This coming Sunday the route  will be the “Ride to the River”.  This route takes us through Moorestown and Riverton, with a stop at Zena’s for pastry. The contrast in the homes on this ride is a lesson in architecture and design.  This is a flat ride and a welcome reprieve from the hills of Buck County of a few weeks back.
The weather promises to be superb for a fall ride. Check back later on this week for an update about fall riding and how to dress in layers. Bring a friend to ride with us this Sunday.
Looking forward to riding with you this coming Sunday.
Sandy, Brad, and Dave
