Father’s Day Ride

This Sunday’s ride was good clean fun. We made a 30 mile loop from the Promenade in Marlton to Tabernacle and back. The weather was amazing and so was the company.

Jim is our "A Team" leader

Hey, no wonder people say we look like a circus riding down the street. It’s not like we’re TRYING to look like that right? By the way, you probably don’t want to tangle with this guy – he’s our “A Team” leader.

This week there were so many new faces…

…and old ones – well not really old…

Let’s not forget the upcoming American Cancer Society’s Bike-a-Thon on Sunday, July 10th. That’s only three weeks away so sign up to ride with Team Evesham here. There are three starting points: the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia at 6:30AM [61 miles], Cherry Hill East High School in Cherry Hill at 7:15AM [49 miles],  and Hammonton (NJ) at 8:45AM [16 miles]. If you’re riding the Century Loop option [100 miles] that starts at the Ben Franklin at 6:30AM as well. All rides end at Buena, NJ at the Blackwater Pond Park. Those of us riding the Century Loop from the Ben Franklin Bridge are parking at the PATCO Woodcrest Speedline and taking our bikes on the train. For return transportation we are recommending that you use the bus offered by the ACS. If you sign up now through July 1 the cost is $25. After that the price goes up to $40. You can then ride your bike from the Cherry Hill bus drop-point back to the Woodcrest Speedline at 2:45PM.
